The Work from Home Milspo Web Design and Digital Consultant Course is a comprehensive course that includes all the mini courses + additional classes like client management, taxes, and business formations from guest experts.
- Learn basic web design in Wordpress (using Divi drag and drop theme), Squarespace, and Wix.
- How to set up domain and hosting for a client.
- Basic branding skills, including how to set up a brand board and simple logos and submarks for clients
- Email marketing design and connection with Mailchimp, Mailerlite, and Flodesk including automations and workflows.
- Basic SEO for pages and posts.
- Meta Business tools to include scheduling posts, ads, and more.
- Tools you need to get your business started and to keep yourself (and your clients) organized.
- Business information including budgeting, taxes, and business formations.
Each student will also receive a free PDF workbook to print and write notes, logins, and other pertinent information while taking this course!
About your Instructor- Lauren Lomsdale
Lauren Lomsdale is an experienced web design and digital media designer. She has been featured in publications like Military Spouse Magazine, Homefront United, Mothering, and Daily Mom. She was the Managing Editor of Daily Mom Military and the Digital Editor of Military Families Magazine. She was also the co-host of the hit YouTube channel, #TheDependas.
She is currently a virtual assistant with Biz Assist, a division of the Jennifer Allwood brand, as a freelance contractor specializing in web design and email marketing.
She also owns her own web design and digital media consultant firm, Aura Digital Consulting.
Having been in the digital media space for over 10 years, Lauren has extensive knowledge in the area of web design and other digital media platforms, social media, marketing, writing, editing, photography, and more.
The WFH Milspo Course is designed to be self-paced and easy-to-follow.
